Picture window doesn't fit properly. Sill's too shallow. This will be sorted by the window company.
Wall has been rebuilt correctly. But you can't help notice the supports are still in, so no kitchen.
The tiles destroyed in the doors installation are being replaced, which has to happen from the top down because they overlap that way.
Meanwhile, upstairs, more tiling.
Nat's room now features much green, after a busy weekend's painting by us. Yeah, we (Gary, Lizzie and Nick) are getting very involved, otherwise the place won't be done by Christmas.
The new heating-vent grilles have arrived, packed with beautiful attention to detail...
...and they look lovely in situ.
Those with eagle eyes may have noticed carpets were fitted tonight - in the three top-floor bedrooms. (The stairs and music room will be carpeted later in the month.) Nat and Ella's room feature particularly luscious shag-pile carpets, as one happy customer notes.
