To the workers' great relief, the charity bods came today to clear out some of the unwanted furniture. Sadly, not nearly enough - necessitating a trip-tip for Nick to dispose of the sofa and armchairs. Still, the garage looks more roomy, although not as roomy as when Pawel starts turning it into a room - next week, hopefully.
Before then we have to move the lovely leather sofa we've been donated by a friend, and which we've now augmented with an eBay-sourced leather swing chair. It's not quite as violently purple as it looks here.
The choosy charity chaps took some of the wooden furniture, although again not all of it; some of it has been rehoused in the shed, where home furnishings go to die. Sorry, live on again as useful storage. The music room is now empty, as you'd be able to see in this shot if I'd remembered to put the flash on.
Elsewhere in the house, not much to show that's tremendously visually exciting; at the moment they're busy preparing for first-fit electrics, like the spotlight holes shown here. The sparky proper starts tomorrow...
