It soon transpires that it's not the doomed sliding doors but the other bits - the back of the former toilet wall and the back door - while looking from the other side reveals the wall's not entirely gone, but it's certainly on the way.
Upstairs, Pawel's been busy carpenting (is that a verb?) a bit more of Ella's bed. Although it's not particularly easy to see here, this is a hanging space for her (few) shirts - this will have a door on it and around the back and side of it will be storage space. All this will come...
Otherwise, just a lot of admin: measuring, researching, ordering. This too will pass. It's less than a month till we move out of Teddington.
