Tue 26 Nov

Less than a month till Christmas. Time to gear it up.

For Lizzie and Gary, a day off "work" and a day on site. Lizzie and Nick on painting duty, Gary in the loft.

Meanwhile, the English boys still working on that wall, the Polish lads still busying themselves around the place, and a new crew installing the agonisingly expensive bifolding doors.

That wall:

Nat's room gets a lick:

Ella's room is a gloss-paint holding pen.

The lodger's room is first to be covered, although like a bed at a winter party, there's more coats to come.

View from the TV room... it's not a garage any more.

As the last wall starts to come down, rubble starts to surround those famous steels.

What the fuss is about: those new bifolding back doors, from the inside...

...and from the garden.

The back of the house: lovely new windows all present and correct. Still tiles to put back up, though the internal wall takes precedence.

Loyal supporters.

The loft: boarded.

Lodger's room:

And tiling starts apace in the en-suite.

A busy day. But a productive one.
